R (in peace): statistical support
Ecology is complicated. The statistical tools required to explore and analyse community data are vast and as equally intricate. Although modern techniques provide powerful tools for disentangling and distilling the underlying story in our data, there is a steep learning curve with understanding the R programming language.
How it works: I set aside an hour per week to answer statistical questions from students involved in research. This can range from coding to analysis options. If i don't know, then we both get to learn something new!
